Insight Publicis, a part of Insight Redefini Group has announced that Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Feyi Olubodun, will depart the organization in February, 2019.
This was contained in a statement released by the company which also added that a search for a new CEO will commence as the company continues to execute its transformational plans
Mr. Olubodun, who has been a part of the company since 2009, rose to the position of Strategic Planning Director, and moved to become the Chief Operating Officer in 2014, from where he became the first non-Founder Chief Executive Officer.
According to the statement, his commitment and dedication over the past ten years has been instrumental in the evolution of the almost 4 decade old company. “Under Olubodun’s leadership, Insight Publicis was well on its way to achieving its vision to remain the biggest Creative and Marketing Communications company in West Africa.
A strong advocate of business ethics, corporate governance standards, and a consummate business thinker, he recently launched his book, The Villager, which amassed huge success within the marketing communications industry. The book was an expression of his articulated perspectives of the African consumer, which he acquired over his years of experience” the statement stated.
Meanwhile, the Board of Insight Redefini has announced the appointment of Dr. Ken Onyeali Ikpe as its Group Managing Director/CEO.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Board, Biodun Shobanjo “the appointment coincides with the critical transformation stage of the group, which created the need to further fortify Insight Redefini in its disruptive leadership, irrefutable excellence and dominance of the integrated marketing communication value chain and enterprise transformation deep hindsight, clear foresight and AI-like actionable foresights.”
The appointment which takes effect from the 3rd of December 2018 will see Dr. Ikpe who hitherto was the Group COO take full responsibility for the Troyka/Pubicis partnership (Insight Redefini) which is the holding company for Insight Publicis, Leo Burnett, Starcom Media Perspectives, All Seasons Zenith, Quadrant MSL and TCC Nigeria.
