FCB DP Partnership Lagos, the affiliate agency of FCB Africa/FCB Connect in Nigeria, has added a new business to its its kitty as the year gradually wind up. The new account, Gardia Mosquito Repellant Cream is from the stable of the indigenous manufacturing giant, Orange Drugs Limited.
The good news was confirmed to the agency’s CEO/Managing Director, Chief Odun Fadoju on December 6, 2016 through a letter of appointment signed by Mrs Uchenna Ezenna-Gboneme, the Head of Media, Orange Drugs Group.
The formal signing of contract was sealed on Friday 9th December 2016 with Mrs Stephanie Nwuju, the Marketing Manager of Orange Drugs Group and CEO/MD of FCB DP Partnership, Lagos.
Orange Drugs Group is an indigenous multi-billion manufacturing company based in Ilupeju-Lagos. The Group manufactures beauty and allied products in Nigeria including Gardia Mosquito Repellant Cream, a new entrant into the Nigerian market. The brand prevents mosquito bites and protects users against malaria.
According to Femi Otta, Account Director, FCB DP Partnership, the agency contested for the business alongside other agencies. “The client assigned FCB DP Partnership to manage the brand owing to her pedigree of making brands move from ground zero to market leaders as well as her creative prowess and her international affiliation with the global FCB Africa/FCB Connect”, said Otta .
The agency has commenced creative work and production of the radio commercials for the brand. The campaign is hope to break in the first Quarter, 2017. {fcomments}
