Grey to Partner Centrespread Nigeria to Deepen Presence in Sub-Region

Grey, a global agency network that prides itself as “Famously Effective Since 1917,” is planning a strategic re-emergence in the Nigerian market as information has it that the network has struck an affiliation arrangement with one of Nigeria’s frontline agencies, Centrespread Advertising.
Grey, a brand that was earlier popular in Nigeria as a part of the famous Martin Sorrel’s WPP group used was Insight Communications’ affiliation network agency before the arrangement was severed a couple of years ago.
Similarly, Centrespread used to belong to the FCB Africa network for about a decade before the arrangement was mutually terminated about two year ago.
As a WPP company, finding reveals that Grey has been hunting for a worthy affiliate agency in the Nigerian market since it parted way with Insight communications in a bid to carve a share of the huge potential the market offers.
Currently with presence in 96 countries, Grey’s roll-call of international clients includes GSK, P & G, Diageo, British Council, Pfizer, Nestle and Canon to mention but a few. Most of these brands operate in Nigeria and offer potential for the new arrangement.
This development is will deepen the Grey brand’s presence and business activities in Nigeria and the sub-region as key international advertising networks consciously plan strategies to capture part of the market referred to as the next frontier. {fcomments}
