Charles Imuzeze Leaves Verdant Zeal Group, to Float Own Shop
Charles Imuzeze, Managing Director of Great Measures Media, a subsidiary of Verdant Zeal Group has exited the media advertising agency after a decade of offering his expertise. His resignation will take effect on 20th December 2018.
Acknowledging the receipt of his resignation letter in a statement released by Abimbola Ogunleye, Head, Human Resource and Admin for the Verdant Zeal Group, stated: “Management earlier on received a notice from ‘ Charles Imuzeze ‘of his intent to pursue his passion elsewhere.
“Charles, joined us in 2008 and later became the Managing Director of Great Measures Media where he contributed his quota towards the success of brands like VLISCO, Emirates, Interswitch, Verve, Quickteller, Society for Family Health, Reckitt Benckiser & Daarsat amongst many others…the list is endless.
“And since we encourage everyone to pursue and develop the spirit of enterprise, we had no choice than to accept his notice of resignation; with his last day at work being Friday the 20th of December 2018.”
When contacted by BrandCrunch on his next move, Imuzeze said he has moved on and may have to do something on his own.
“It has been an interesting experience because Verdant Zeal actually gave me opportunity to build Great Measures Media and also be able to drive the company forward for profitability. I had all the support I needed from verdant zeal group and it is that experience that I am taking out of here to do some other things on my own,” he said.
Before joining the agency, Imuzeze had worked in Peapco Mediashop, LTC Advertising, and Media Supermart.
He is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Benin, possesses a Masters in Business Administration; Marketing from Lagos State University and he is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, SMP59 Class. He is also a Full Member of the Advertising Practitioner Council of Nigeria (APCON) and a member of the Education Committee of MIPAN (Media Independent Practitioner Association of Nigeria).
