Precise Reputation Design, a strategic communications and management consultancy firm led by Bolaji Okusaga, is set to launch its first spin-off company, Excite Africa, an enterprise solution digital platform designed to change the face of business development on the African continent.

As enterprise solutions providers, Excite Africa will deliver digital solutions geared towards the automation, promotion and day to day management of business processes for Micro, Small and Medium enterprises.

Information from the company revealed that Excite Enterprise will unveil three affordable subscription plans – Basic plan, the Pro plan and the Elite Plan.  The basic plan which is free, will allow users to make use of the market place for free while the paid subscription plans provide users access to Excite’s more specialized services.

Confirming the development to BrandCrunch, Bolaji revealed that Excite enterprise, which is the first of the company’s array of business tools and solutions, is aimed at helping businesses within the informal sector to scale by providing them with access to business management tools and services.

“Excite Enterprise tools and services have been developed with the goal of deepening markets for micro/small and medium businesses”, said Bolaji.

Quoting statistics from National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the Precise CEO noted, “MSME sub-sector is credited with up to eighty five percent (85%) of total industrial employment”, but sadly, the industry is under-optimised due to lack of valuable business knowledge and tools, he added.

In view of this yawning gap, Excite Africa aims to fill some of these visible gaps within the Nigerian MSME space because we fully recognise the need to fill this void within the informal sector of the Economy. At the moment, Nigeria’s MSMEs are limited by poor funding, trade and distribution capacity which affect both registered and unregistered businesses.

With over 17 million registered SMEs according to CAC data, Excite will also offer compliance services such as the facilitation of Business registration, and subscribers will also be able to access funding to scale up their potential while having access to a bigger market.

Excite Enterprise currently enables users to enjoy the following tools and Services:

Business Listing Services, this affords the user opportunity to register his/her business on the website in a bid to increase visibility and reach. “Sell your products to our visitors or position your service for buyers to find you. You can upload your products under our different product categories and transact with buyers who wish to purchase your products that they have discovered from our page”, added Bolaji.

In the area of marketing, interested user can make us of the platform’ targeted marketing services which include: Influencer Marketing – access excites’ network of influencers to help advertise your products and services to targeted customers. The options here range from individual posts to social media trends; web and online presence create a personalized webpage with a custom domain name using our website building and design services. Also use our design services to design your business logo.

The platform’s enterprise services include automated invoicing, and payment management; account Management Tool – monitoring cash outflow and inflow using our simplified finance management tool; and SME Finance –structure loan opportunities from a wide range of finance partners among others.

Excite’s compliance services such as automated Business Registration Facilitation and Tax and other compliance issues will also be available to interested users.

Other offerings are consumer services which provide opportunities to find a business: Location-based service by taking advantage of Excite’s directory of services to find a vendor close to your preferred location; Crowd-sourcing services and Price Check – compare prices of products and services across the E-commerce space

Excite also promises to be strong on data gathering.  “Our target is to List about 1 million SMEs on the platform within the next two years. We intend to become the hub for information on the informal sector in Nigeria by analysing data about business activities conducted on and off our website”, Okusaga  revealed, adding that analysis will be useful for marketing services and other information powered services.

Precise Reputation is in partnership with Mobinet Group Holdings on the Excite Enterpprise project. Mobinet which is incorporated in Hong Kong with subsidiaries and operations in East and West Africa, provides consulting and technical advice to financial institutions and businesses across Africa with operations in Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Uganda.
