So Fresh Celebrates 10 Years in Business, Opens 10th Outlet in Abuja

So Fresh Neighborhood Market Ltd, an indigenous company and pioneer of healthy food chain with commitment to healthy lifestyle in Nigeria, on 6th of November, 2020 clocked 10 years in business operation with the launch of new retail outlet in Gwarimpa Abuja.
So Fresh, a delicious and nutrient- rich company was founded by a couple, Olagoke and Bimbo Balogun 10 years ago with the first outlet at Ogba, Lagos. According to the CEO, Mr. Olagoke Balogun, So Fresh was founded with the passion to see Nigerian live a healthy lifestyle by serving them with fresh and healthy foods.
In his words, ‘’ it has been an amazing journey growing this business and with resilience, we are able to open the 10th outlet in Gwarimpa Abuja today. We inspire people to live healthier and happier lives by enriching them with fresh wholesome nutrient-rich and delicious meals’’
Also speaking, Abimbola Balogun, COO, So Fresh said the passion and love to see Nigerians are living and eating healthy food contributed to establishing So Fresh. According to her, ‘’this same time in 2010, we commissioned our first outlet in Ogba. It was born out of our love for healthy living and because we both have the same passion, it became so easy to buy into the idea.”
Over the last decades, So Fresh continues to be at the fore-front of the healthy lifestyle and wellness revolution in Nigeria by promoting healthier eating alternatives and habits in line with So Fresh’s mission- ‘’inspiring you to live fresh, live healthier’’
As an indigenous company, So fresh isn’t only promoting healthy living and food safely, the company prides itself in providing job opportunities and training for young Nigerians thereby giving them source of living. According to Mr Olagoke, the company currently has over 120 staff with over 1000 people who have passed through the system. In addition, he maintained that the company served over 200,000 customers across the board and in 2019, So Fresh served over 600,000 meals.
Also speaking, the Supply Chain Manager, Olaronke Fadeyi said the company holds in high value hygiene and healthy supply of their products hence frequent training of their suppliers. ‘’We have over 200 suppliers across Nigeria and we constantly give the training on hygiene process’’ she added that the staff of the company are always given training on the job to maintain quality delivery.
Though So Fresh has maintained its stand for the past 10 years, the company has shown it readiness for the next 7 years to invest over 10 million dollars in the West Africa region as it drives her expansion plans to surpass 100 store while keeping the focus to building a healthy nation, create jobs and expand the learning and capacity in the Food Retail space.
