OfadaBoy Wins MEA African Excellence Award, Gets ECOWAS Ambassador
Nigerian’ leading indigenous restaurant and outdoor catering company, OfadaBoy Company has emerged winner of MEA Magazine; African Excellence Award for Best Local Catering Company in Lagos. This is a follow-up fit after the Managing Director, Oluwatobi Fletcher was given ECOWAS Youth Ambassador recently.
Now in its fifth year, the African Excellence programme continues to highlight the companies and leaders who are spearheading and driving industry across the continent with outstanding performance that has enhanced economic and social development.
Speaking on the award, the Coordinator Kaven Cooper took a moment to comment on the success of the winners: “As always, it has been a delight to reach out to all of the winners of this year’s programme. I offer my sincere congratulations, and I am very proud of all of you. I wish you the very best of luck for the year ahead, and for the remainder of 2021.”
He added that, Africa looks set to prove itself a vital business hub in the future. Defined today by innovation and adaptation, the continent has already established a strong foundation for excellence, impressing in a plethora of fields and industries. Perhaps nothing speaks to the region’s ethos than the last twelve months; at a time when countries all over the world struggled for normalcy, many businesses in Africa capitalized and took the opportunity to grow and thrive. African businesses have continued to own and lead the industrial development, which cannot never be ignored globally.

Mr. Fletcher, added that African Excellence Award and the Ambassadorial appointment could not have come at a better time as this. When preparation is in top gear for the third edition of Ofada Rice Day, an idea designed to promote the uniqueness of ofada rice to the global audience.
The award will also propel the team to giving its best in representing Africa responsively at the global stage, as he dedicated the award to staff and all customers of the brand in Nigeria and globally. s
